Printing on anodized aluminum
with Freejet is
simple and efficient...
The anodized aluminum has a porous surface
that is produced in an electrolytic bath. Photo
quality images and graphics can be printed into the unsealed oxide layer using color dyes via the Freejet printer. After printing, the pores will be closed in a simple fixation process, protecting the dyes from outside influences.
Anodized Aluminum protects the image against the following dangers:
Mechanical abrasion / Scratches
Solvent agents such as: Alcohol, Acetone or Thinner
Aggressive aqueous solutions
High temperatures (up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit)
Graffiti: Foreign color can be easily wiped off with paint thinner
